The 2U system features 8 HDD drive bays and RAID 0, 1, 5, and 5 with hot spare that helps prevent precious data from being lost, and offers a quick and efficient backup solution.

Administrators can monitor hardware status via the Liquid Crystal Monitor display on the front panel, or using the simple browser GUI management interface, and take any needed action immediately if problems do occur. The R2810 NAS provides simple, yet complex reliability, scalability, flexibility, and high performance in the space of 2U.

The R2810 NAS is ideal for use as a primary data storage unit, or as a secondary back up system, where data from a primary storage device is simply copied under your control over the network to the secondary R2810 to provide extra data security. Data replication (NAS to NAS) and Date/Time stamped automatic snapshot facilities are included and simple to set up through the user friendly GUI.
